Hapag-Lloyd changes German port of call on IOS

German ocean carrier Hapag-Lloyd has announced changes in its Indian Ocean Service (IOS), which will temporarily call at Wilhelmshaven instead of Hamburg to avoid the current congestion at Hamburg Container Terminal Altenwerder (CTA).

Effective from 15 November, the new temporary rotation for the IOS will be as follows:

Jebel Ali (UAE) ‭→ Karachi (Pakistan) ‭→ Nhava Sheva (India) ‭→ Mundra (India) ‭→ Tangier (Morocco) ‭→ Rotterdam (Netherlands) ‭→ Wilhelmshaven (Germany) ‭→ Antwerp (Belgium) ‭→ London Gateway (United Kingdom) ‭→ Tangier ‭→ Jebel Ali
