CMA CGM noted the facility ensures smooth customs clearance with no congestion for all cargo types and supports reliable rail connectivity.
A fixed block-train service operates between Alexandria Terminal Multi-Transport and ODP with two weekly departures in each direction and a fast one-day transit time.
Rail links also extend to other key ports, including Ain Sukhna, Port Said, and Damietta, offering a broad logistical reach.
Beyond operational efficiency, rail transport through ODP contributes significantly to environmental sustainability, reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 75% compared to road transport.
